I was just getting into comics and slash.  My favorite pairing was Bruce/Dick (Batman/Robin I, Batman/Nightwing) so I was searching for fics on google, and ran into dcu_slash_index.  After a while I explored a little more throughout LiveJournal and about a year later, here I am.
